Issues with “Unit Directives” or “Guidelines”

Local 2366 has recently been made aware of efforts by station management to restrict or deny employees of rights and privileges guaranteed to them via existing labor law and contract. This effort has manifested in the form of “Unit Directives” or “Guidelines.” Unit supervisors expect the agents to sign and abide by the policies that are outlined in these documents. Currently the Union is advocating that those affected sign the documents acknowledging their receipt and understanding of the directive. The Union has made Sector aware of our concerns and will strive to have these documents rescinded.
