Deputy Mike Schaefer died Christmas morning while trying to take a combative 16-year-old into custody. Hundreds were present at his funeral this afternoon in Sabinal, including law enforcement from across the state. RIP.
Local 2366 offers its condolences to the family and friends of Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry who was killed in the line of duty on December 14, 2010, near Rio Rico, Arizona. He will be missed, RIP.

Murder charges against ATF Special Agent Will Clark were dropped today by a judge in the US Virgin Islands. Defense counsel claimed that a procedural error was made by the prosecution and the judge agreed. Even though Clark was cleared based on a technicality, it is still good news.
