PFP grievance resolved in Del Rio Station

Last week, the union filed a grievance when a supervisor improperly refused to let agents participate in the Physical Fitness Program (PFP). This week, station management agreed that the supervisor will indeed allow agents to work out and will follow the PFP directive and internal operating procedure, including participation when operationally feasible.

The union recognizes that although the increased workload can make it tricky to balance processing with employee fitness and well-being, it is certainly possible. We appreciate Del Rio Stations management’s commitment to employee health and doing its part to educate supervisory staff on the importance of the PFP.

There is also a PFP-related grievance still pending out of Eagle Pass South Station, and we will update accordingly.
